The day of the wedding, it sprinkled off and on, and like any spring Oklahoma day, we didn’t know what might happen. With rain ponchos at the ready, Jodi and Daniel’s family continued on in setting up, organizing, and getting every detail ready. The handyman that Daniel is, he even worked up until he got into his suit-making sure everything looked perfect for their wedding.
Daniel even built the gazebo that he and Jodi would be married under, with the help of Jodi’s father. The two bonded over this time, and in the end, a beautiful gazebo was built just for the wedding day, and Jodi’s father was even ordained to perform the ceremony. How awesome is that?
Jodi and Daniel had a wonderful, intimate wedding with their family and friends on the farm that Jodi’s parents own and live on. Jodi even got brought to the aisle by a horse-drawn carriage! In her words: “This is my fairy tale day, and I’m getting a carriage!”
I’ve known Jodi and Daniel for a very long time; we worked together in a restaurant that was my very first job! Jodi has always been so funny, bubbly, and kind. It only seems right that Daniel is just as silly and loving as she is. These two are so wonderful together, they make each other laugh, they joke about Daniel’s beard, and I hear they love a good beer. (Me too). The way Daniel looks at Jodi can honestly make your hear melt. These might be some of the happiest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Rain couldn’t get anyone down on this day, and even got us some amazing photos!
Jodi, Daniel, and their families worked hard to bring this day together to celebrate two people’s love and new life together, and I am so happy to show you their photos.
