Hell yes.
Helena and Troy’s Four Corners Ranch wedding was like any other June day – Oklahoma experienced all seasons of weather in a matter of hours. As I was driving to their venue, a hail storm moved across Edmond and I had to pull over to wait for it to pass because I couldn’t see. Once the storm tapered off and I arrived at the venue, the sun was out in full force and shining so brightly. Go figure.
The rest of the day was a dream as Helena and Troy finished getting ready and had a sweet ceremony to join their two families. These do it yourselfers focused on becoming a family and being supportive of each other as well as two young kids. It was beautiful and special and made everyone’s eyes a bit misty. After being announced as husband and wife, they danced up the aisle to The Office theme song to get the party started. The rest of the night was full of delicious food, giant sparklers, and dancing until the sun went down thanks to DJ Connection for keeping the party going all night.
I just have so much love for these two! Not only was their wedding so memorable, but their engagement session was just as fun. We immediately bonded over graphic design, The Office (you can imagine how much I loved their ceremony recessional), and pho. In fact, Helena is an artist and graphic designer, and she has THE CUTEST things available inside of Out on a Limb. So, being an artist herself, her wedding was full of DIY projects that reflected her and Troy perfectly. Obviously, I could go on and on about how great Helena and Troy are and how wonderful their wedding was, but I’ll let you see for yourself. Enjoy!
