Hell yes.
Olivia and Andrew’s October wedding at Meinders Hall of Mirrors was elegant, artistic, and full of love. Ever since I have marveled at the light and positivity that their friends and family brought to the day! It was evident that everyone there would have done anything for Olivia and Andrew, and that they were very loved.
Olivia and Andrew share passions for music, art, and philosophy. They gave beautiful toasts at their reception, and a theme of their relationship became clear: they love diving into new and unexplored topics and learning about the world together. Truly, the depth of their connection and friendship is incredible.
As a wedding photographer, one of my favorite parts of my job is seeing how unique each wedding is. I believe that couples should plan a day that truly reflects them. Whether that means an elopement at a library (like Kelly + Tony did!) or saying I Do in a garden. They are all unforgettable memories, cherished for a lifetime.
When planning their day it was important to them to remain true to themselves and put together a wedding that actually felt like their relationship. What came together was an artistic and eclectic day full of personal touches!
Personalized Details at Meinders Hall of Mirrors
Olivia and Andrew’s favorite drink to enjoy together is an Aperol spritz. So, they had the bar make spritzes for all of their guests! There was no part of the day which wasn’t intentionally curated by the couple. In fact, Olivia says that one of the most fun parts of wedding planning was creating their reception playlist! It was a fantastic playlist too, and the couple danced all night, right up until I left.
One of my favorite touches was the place settings for each guest. They included images of their dearest family members on their wedding day, which was so incredible to see. I truly believe that photography is the thing that stands the test of time after your wedding. These photos are ones you will share for generations to come.
The couple were also impeccably styled. Olivia wore a two-piece gown by Carol Hannah, which included a soft gray skirt and moonstone sash. It was so chic, and so her. Andrew wore a classic blue suit, perfectly tailored, while his groomsmen wore checkered wool suits. They added soft touches of blue and purple throughout the day, including the handpicked bouquets filled with color.
A Laid Back Wedding
It was a gorgeous, laidback wedding day free of stress. When you look at Olivia and Andrew’s portraits together, this is obvious. The two snuggled up close and left all worries behind – you can really see the deep love and connection between the two. Not only were they relaxed and at ease during their portraits, but also as the day unfolded. Their friends and family had the same attitude, which only made it even better.
I had the best time capturing Olivia and Andrew’s wedding at Meinders Hall of Mirrors and getting to know them as a couple. As your wedding photographer, I’m here to help you design a wedding that isn’t just meaningful – but all about the two of you. I want you to feel confident and empowered in every decision you make, and I can’t wait to document every little moment!
