Hell yes.
Kaitlin and Travis’ wedding took place in Antlers, OK, at a family friend’s ponderosa — a space they built themselves on their gorgeous plot of land to host events and family weddings. Their reception, held at Travis’ childhood home, featured thoughtful, elegant details that transformed their family’s backyard overlooking a large pond into an intimate space to celebrate their marriage. In typical Oklahoma fashion, the weather that day went from clear, to raining, to humid and miserable, finally to cool off in the evening. At one point in the afternoon it was so hot and humid that I totally considered jumping right in the pool, gear and all. That’s Oklahoma weddings, for you.
This was a really beautiful and fun day, even with a little rain, and I just want to thank Kaitlin, Travis and their friends and family for welcoming me to their home and choosing to work with me. Travis and Kaitlin are kind people and their enormous wedding party (18 to be exact!) is just an example of how much love and friendship they have surrounding them. And I just want to say that every person in their wedding party HAS THE MOVES. And there’s now photo evidence of it. I had a great time celebrating with this group, and I’m so grateful I have a job that connects me with people like these two.
I’ll let you enjoy their photos now!
Cheers!
