Hell yes.
Hannah and Elizabeth had an intimate ceremony at Oxley Nature Center, then a rooftop dance party at Welltown Brewing. I love how intentional these two were about every aspect of their day! As a wedding and elopement photographer, I’m passionate about documenting my couples being their authentic selves. Hannah and Elizabeth remained true to themselves with every planning decision, which shines through in their images. So much love, so many little details, and so much intention went into this day.
Intimate Woodland Ceremony at Oxley Nature Center
Elizabeth has always had a passion for the outdoors and currently works for the forestry service. Through spending time with Elizabeth, Hannah learned to love it too! They chose to have an outdoor ceremony to honor their shared love of nature. Oxley Nature Center, tucked away on the outskirts of Tulsa, was the perfect place to say “I do” in front of a small group of loved ones.
Before their ceremony, the couple shared a first look and private vow reading. Their relationship is so intimate, and I love that they intentionally set aside this time for themselves. Without an audience, they had space to be completely present as they read their loving words to one another. Meanwhile, I was in the background capturing all the laughter and happy tears.
During their ceremony, Hannah and Elizabeth planted a tree together to represent the start of their union. Then, they had the most fun exit! Their closest friends and family lined up and tossed lavender on the happy couple as they walked back down the aisle. They made this conscious choice so their VIPs would be in the photos, which was incredible. The images ended up being some of my favorites from the entire gallery!
Downtown Tulsa Reception at Welltown Brewing
Welltown Brewing in downtown Tulsa was Hannah and Elizabeth’s ideal reception venue. After the intimacy of their ceremony, they wanted to enjoy a big celebration with everyone who supported their journey together. They told me they wanted to party and were excited to dance together—and they delivered! I loved capturing their joy all night as they danced under the rainbow strobe lights.
The couple’s reception was on the roof of Welltown Brewing, with panoramic views of the Tulsa skyline. Everyone enjoyed Welltown’s signature craft beer and delicious catering from The Loaded Bowl as the sun set. Meanwhile, I snuck away with Hannah and Elizabeth to snap a few portraits in the streets of downtown! Getting to know these two was so much fun, and I feel honored that they chose me to capture their special day.
